Welcome To New Germany

We are a small farming community with a rich heritage shared by the two townships encompassing the city. Both Hollywood and Camden townships have a close relationship with New Germany and share years of history together.
I relocated to New Germany 20 years ago and immediately felt welcome. I now consider New Germany my “home town.”
We have great parks, baseball, softball leagues, little league, volleyball, and horseshoe leagues for all ages. A new trail will soon be available extending east to Lake Minnetonka and west as far as Hutchinson providing hiking and bicycling during the summer and snomobiling in winter. Many people walk through our quiet streets in the evening, often stopping to visit friends or greet new folks.
There are several new subdivisions, and grading has started at Trophy Lakes Estates IV, a new gated community featuring three man-made water ski lakes.
Quality local builders are available offfering many plan options. Our utilities are in the process of being up-graded and will be in full operation soon; ready to accomodate newcomers. Many new and exciting things are happening, we welcome all who wish to participate and help make New Germany the best place to live. Community involvement is the key to success.
