Playground equipment for younger children, as well as basketball hoops and softball fields for teens and adults, provide entertainment and recreational opportunities for everyone.

The city has tried to provide safe places for residents to get together and enjoy the outdoors. The New Germany park system has achieved those goals.

The four parks in New Germany include Lindstrom Park, Tower Park, Baseball Park, and Gazebo Park.

Lindstrom Park features seasonal softball leagues, tennis courts and horseshoes.

Tower Park has a recently renovated playground for smaller children, and a half basketball court for all ages.

Baseball Park is the host to seasonal baseball leagues and their fans.

Gazebo Park is used for a variety of events such as weddings and private parties.

Many organizations and individuals have contributed to the development of these parks, including the New Germany Commercial Club, the fire department, and the Hollywood Booster Club.
